Terms of Use
Effective date: June 4, 2026
These Terms of Use explain the rules for using Pressure. By using the Pressure app or the Pressure website at pressure.app, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Pressure.
Use of Pressure
Pressure is a speaking practice app. It helps you practice short spoken responses, receive feedback, and build clearer communication in realistic pressure moments.
You may use Pressure only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm, disrupt, abuse, or interfere with the service or other users.
You are responsible for the words, audio, text, feedback, or other content you submit while using Pressure.
Practice tool only
Pressure is a practice and training tool. It is not a substitute for professional coaching, therapy, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, career advice, or any other professional service.
Pressure may give feedback on your spoken practice responses, but that feedback is for practice and self-improvement only.
No guaranteed outcomes
Pressure may help you practice speaking more clearly, but we do not guarantee any specific result.
We do not guarantee improved confidence, employment outcomes, interview performance, academic results, sales results, relationship outcomes, public speaking performance, or any other real-world outcome.
Your results depend on many factors, including how you use the app, your situation, and your own practice.
AI and transcription limitations
Pressure uses transcription and AI systems to provide feedback, summaries, scenario replies, and practice support. These systems may make mistakes or be unavailable.
Transcriptions may be incomplete or inaccurate. AI-generated feedback may be incomplete, incorrect, or not appropriate for every situation.
You should use your own judgment when applying anything you practice or learn in Pressure.
Subscriptions and free trials
Pressure may offer free and paid features. Some features may require a Premium subscription.
Pressure Premium Monthly is currently offered as an auto-renewing monthly subscription through the App Store. It includes a 7-day free trial, then renews monthly unless you cancel before the trial ends.
The price, billing period, and trial details are shown in the app or in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm your purchase. Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, and App Store settings.
Today’s Focus is currently available without Premium. Pressure Premium Monthly unlocks Open Practice and Foundations.
Apple billing, cancellation, and refunds
Subscriptions are billed through Apple/App Store, not directly by Pressure.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings or Apple Subscriptions. Deleting the Pressure app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Refunds, billing disputes, and payment issues are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
Restore purchases
If you already purchased Premium and need to recover access, use Restore Purchases in the app.
Pressure uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and Premium access. Restored purchases must be confirmed through Apple/App Store and RevenueCat before Premium access can be restored in the app.
Usage limits and fair use
Pressure may apply usage limits, fair-use limits, rate limits, or other safeguards to protect the service, control costs, prevent abuse, and keep the app reliable.
Free users may have limited access to training features. Premium users may also be subject to reasonable usage limits or technical safeguards.
Pressure may use a random app-generated device identifier to help enforce practice limits, rate limits, Premium access, abuse-prevention controls, diagnostics, and aggregate analytics safeguards. This identifier is not a Pressure account login.
Do not attempt to bypass limits, interfere with the app, reverse engineer the service, abuse backend systems, scrape data, overload the service, or use Pressure in a way that harms the product or other users.
User content and feedback
You retain responsibility for the content you submit to Pressure, including spoken responses, text, feedback, and reports.
By using Pressure, you give us permission to process your submitted content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and support the service. This may include transcription, feedback generation, session summaries, diagnostics, support, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
Do not include sensitive personal information in spoken reps or optional feedback unless you want that information processed by Pressure and its service providers to provide app, feedback, or support features.
If you send feedback, suggestions, ideas, or reports, you allow us to use them to improve Pressure without owing compensation or credit.
Privacy
Your use of Pressure is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at:
https://pressure.app/privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Third-party services
Pressure uses third-party services to operate the app and website. These may include Apple/App Store, RevenueCat, OpenAI, Cloudflare, Vercel, Formspree, and other service providers.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services except where required by law.
Intellectual property
Pressure, including its design, branding, software, prompts, feedback systems, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by Pressure or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Pressure unless we give you written permission or the law allows it.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Pressure at any time.
We may update features, pricing, limits, prompts, feedback systems, training flows, or access rules. We may also fix, modify, or remove features as the product evolves.
We do not guarantee that Pressure will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device or operating system.
No warranties
Pressure is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pressure and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or business interruption.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Pressure will be limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to use Pressure in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 CAD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under laws that cannot be waived by contract.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
Your continued use of Pressure after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
